  • It's my first day at school. 这是我上学的第一天。类似的句子有：This is my first day at college. 这是我进大学的第一天。 This is my first visit to Beijing. 这是我第一次参观北京。
  • Well, don't be late for class. This is very important. well在这里是个语气词，表示无可奈何。 “be late for” 和前面的“arrive late for” 都表示 “…迟到”
  • Can we bring music players to school? 我们能把音乐播放器带到学校来吗? “bring…to… 把…带到….来。注意：“把…带到….去”是 “take… to…”。
  • And we always have to wear the school uniform. 而且我们总是得穿校服。“have to” 不得不，必须。 “have to”表达的是自己主观上不想，但客观上不得不…。
  • There are too many rules! 有太多的规矩。“too many常放在可数名词复数前，太多…。
  • …, my mom says, "Get up now and make your bed!" 现在起床，把床整理好。Make your bed, make the bed是 “把床铺整理好”的意思。
  • At school, we have more rules. 在学校，我们还有更多的规矩。at schhool. 在学校，在上学。如：I am at school. 我在念书。（表示还没工作）。 more “更多”。表示和家里相比。
  • Don't eat in class. 上课不准吃东西。 in class. 课堂上，上课的时候
  • I know how you feel. 我了解你的感受。 “how you feel” 是一个感叹句做了know的宾语。
  • There are a lot of things you can do. 有许多你可以做的事情。“you can do” 是用了一个句子作定语(就是我们所说的“定语从句”)。所以翻译时要先翻译you can do, 然后在翻译它所修饰的词things.
  • You can watch TV after you read a book. 句中的after you read a book是一个从句来表示时间。说明“什么时候”可以看电视。表示时间的从句叫“时间状语从句”。

      有主语和谓语动词，有比较完整的意义的一组词，叫做句子。
      从句子本身来看，句子可分为： 简单句、并列句、复合句。
      从说话人说话的目的来看, 句子可分为：陈述句(包括肯定句和否定句)、疑问句、祈使句和感叹句。

祈使句
      用来表示命令、请求的句子称为祈使句。祈使句的结构是: 主语you省略，动词开头，祈使句的否定句是在原句前加上don't. 如：
      Open the door, please! 请开门!
      Don't open the door, please! 请不要开门!
